Landscaping

There are many types of landscape to consider:

Traditional: Lawns, shrubs, flowers, trees & some hardscape.
1) Expensive
2) Requires lots of water
3) Requires lots of maintenance

Contemporary: Similar to Traditional type with slightly less greenery & more hardscape.
1) Can still be expensive
2) Still requires quite a bit of water
3) Slightly less maintenance

Mediterranean: Water saving, desert type landscape, more hardscape, gravel & bark.
1) Less expensive
2) Requires less water
3) Requires less maintenance

Of course these are just a few types to consider, it also depends on where you live, & the type of climate you live in.
