PROFESSIONAL AND RESPONSIVE

  • Receive prompt service. We are easily accessible via the office phone, cell phones and email. With a few exceptions, all unanswered calls will be returned within three (3) hours. Unless otherwise specified, weekend calls should be made to John Guerra's cell phone.
  • Receive additional support throughout your project with one point of contact in the field and one point of contact in the office.
  • Receive written status reports (either weekly, biweekly or monthly) clearly and concisely depicting progress during on-site construction. Each status report will summarize work that has been completed, any remaining work, a completion schedule, a client to do list, a contractor to do list, any payments made, the remaining balance and change orders if applicable.

CLEAN AND ORGANIZED JOB SITES

  • Protective products are set up before work begins to minimize the disturbance to your daily living (i.e., floor and wall surface protection; temporary plastic walls confine construction debris/trash to the specific area being worked on).
  • Demolished debris/trash is considerately placed and stacked in an agreed upon area to minimize any impact during construction and not cause any damage to landscaping.
  • Debris/trash will not be allowed to sit for more than four (4) days* before being removed to minimize the disturbance around the project area and to be respectful of neighbors. Any debris/trash will be covered with a protective tarp at the end of each day while on site.

FIXED PRICING

  • KD's pricing will not change during construction. All work is performed under a fixed contract amount. Price changes only occur as specified under the conditions of KD's contract which provide exceptions for such things as changes made by the client, subsurface or otherwise concealed physical conditions that we were not made aware of prior to construction.
  • KD does not change it's pricing if something is inadvertently left off of the contract. For example, if KD were to underestimate the material costs or the cost of a specialty trade, we would not increase the contract price, we would incur the cost ourselves.

STRONG FINISH

  • KD will do a final walk-through with you of the construction site at the end of the project to see if anything needs to be addressed. If there are any corrections or if any touch-up work is needed, we will promptly schedule a convenient time to correct these items.

QUALITY WORKMANSHIP

  • We warranty our work in writing for three (3) years. However, if at any time down the road our workmanship comes into question we will promptly respond. If our workmanship is faulty we will make all necessary corrections at no cost to you. Note: Normal characteristic behavior of building materials, wear and tear, general maintenance and like items, does not fall under our warranty.
  • If follow up corrections are necessary we will make up to three attempts to correct the problem (an attempt is when we consider the problem resolved—therefore, one attempt could require multiple trips). If after three attempts the problem is not corrected we will send out an independent specialty tradesperson to correct the problem at our expense. If the specialty tradesperson does not correct the problem we will pay for a specialist of your choice to correct our faulty workmanship.
